Welcome to the "About Me" section of my website. I was born in Florence, and spent most of my childhood here. I spent my junior high and high school years in Darlington, S.C. then returned to Florence while attending Francis Marion University.
After graduating from FMU, I moved to Greenville, S.C. where I began a 20 year career in the textile industry with Milliken & Company. I spent the first 3 years in manufacturing management then moved into research and development for the last 17 years where my main responsibility was to design, engineer, and develop performance fabrics, swim wear, and intimate apparel.
I resigned from Milliken & Co. in 2004 to return to Florence to be closer to my parents. I went back to work for Milliken & Co. here in Florence for 2 years as a consultant in 2005 and also owned and operated an internet business. Then in December of 2007, I decided to pursue my passion for real estate and became licensed in February of 2008.
Twenty years in the corporate world as a supplier for companies like Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Jantzen, Victoria's Secret, Speedo, & Playtex and having owned my own business instilled in me the values of team work, attention to detail, a bias for action, un-yielding persistence, and above all honesty & integrity.
In closing, the relationship between a home buyer or seller and their agent is based on trust, shared ideals, and understanding...in other words, "teamwork" is the key.
