Revolution In Weight Loss Actually Works! New Swell Technology Is Making Impact On Hundreds Of Lives.

Submitted by: Wendi Lyn Jensen

West Bountiful, Utah October 8, 2008 Independent reps with MyO3World, a new company under the umbrella of ForeverGreen, are turning into matchmakers. While they are not building relationships in the normal sense, they are hooking people up with a new weight management tool destined to bring happiness for the long haul.

Weight management has been an issue for decades. The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey states that about two-thirds of adults in the United States are overweight, and almost one-third are obese. And according to the Department of Surgery, Harvard Medical School, obesity is a rapidly increasing, worldwide epidemic. People are turning to invasive and costly procedures such as gastric bypass surgery. An estimated 200,000 gastric bypass surgeries were performed in the United States in 2007. With each surgery averaging $25,000, that is more than $5 billion spent on trying to restrict or decrease stomach capacity.

Introducing FORM , a safe, non-invasive option! FORM is a capsulated polymer-based gastric bulking agent that is completely biologically inert. The body does not react negatively or positively to it. It is just there . It is 99.995% pure and is made from components we have been consuming for years in such things as Jell-o, puddings, and sauces. When taken with water, thirty minutes before eating a meal, this little capsule bulks to 500 times it s size and fills the space in your stomach making you eat less, creating a much easier way to restrict or decrease stomach capacity without turning to surgery. With FORM a person, on average, eats 40% less.

The bottom line for most people is if they eat less, they weigh less. The body does not create fat out of nothing. If the stomach capacity is restricted the result is a message of satiety being sent to the brain after far less food has been consumed. Portion control is considered the healthiest and most biologically natural and effective method of weight management. FORM is the necessary tool to help anybody stop overeating.

There are so many diet plans and programs out there. This one is set apart from all of them, due to it s simplicity. A person does not have to change their entire life, follow a specific plan, or even count calories. Using FORM just works. Use it, eat less, and lose the weight. The hardest part about using this product seems to be containing the excitement that seems to be inevitable. As the pounds start coming off, people are just unable to keep it to themselves. The word is spreading very quickly.

FORM is going to change everything in the weight management industry. By taking FORM , a person will have a real tool to help satisfy hunger and regain control over portions. Combined with a healthier lifestyle that includes nutrition and exercise, living well will be attainable for all. Being overweight will be a thing of the past for all those truly searching for a solution. Portion control in a capsule is a match made in heaven for all wanting to gain control of their weight.

About the Author: Former Note Broker, Wendi Lyn Jensen, became an independent distributor with MyO3World in July 2008. As an independent rep she is educating people about weight loss and helping people regain control. And she is happy to do it one person at a time. Please call 801-725-5386 or

Israeli website reports speculation over U.S. attack on Iran in April

Saturday, March 31, 2007

Reports from the Israeli website Debka.com, which reports on intelligence matters, say that the United States is planning to launch air strikes on Iran targets on Good Friday, April 6 at 4:00 a.m. local time (UTC+3:30), citing unnamed Russian intelligence officials.

Russian intelligence has information that the U.S. Armed Forces stationed in the Persian Gulf have nearly completed preparations for a missile strike against Iranian territory.

The Under Secretary for Political Affairs at the United States State Department, Nicholas Burns, however, testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Thursday that diplomacy was the “best and preferred” course of action in dealing with Iran, adding “I do not believe a military confrontation with Iran is either desirable or inevitable.”

Another newspaper, the Russian weekly “Argoumenty Nedeli” (Week Arguments) is quoted by the Russian Information Agency (RIA) Novosti as saying that the attack is planned for a single continuous attack of 12 hours from 4am to 4pm, with the choice of the Easter holidays in many Western countries likely since “Western opinion” will be “on holidays”. Friday 6 April is cited by Novosti as a likely, though not definite, date. Another RIA Novosti report written in French and dated March 30 states that the US military command is ready to make an attack during the first fortnight of April, but that any final decision will be made by US political leaders.

The targets will be “Iranian nuclear installations” that will be “designed to be devastating enough to set Tehran’s nuclear program several years back,” said the website quoting unnamed Russian intelligence officials.

United States forces completed a large-scale series of military exercises in the Persian gulf off the Iranian coastline this week, involving 15 ships, 125 aircraft and 13,000 sailors. Naval commanders said the exercises were meant to demonstrate United States’ commitment to security in the region, including keeping sea-lanes open for oil shipment and were defensive in nature.

Despite the claims by the Russian official, Iran does not think that the U.S. can “pressure” the U.S. tax payers into another war.

“U.S. officials are under pressure from Americans. I don’t think the U.S. is in a position to mount its pressure on the U.S. taxpayers,” said Manuchehr Mottaki, Iran’s Foreign Minister.

The Gulf Cooperation Council has called on its member nations – Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, all home to U.S. forces in the region, to not take part in an attack on Iran. Qatar and the Emirates have already said that they would not.

“Russian intelligence has information that the U.S. Armed Forces stationed in the Persian Gulf have nearly completed preparations for a missile strike against Iranian territory. The Pentagon has drafted a highly effective plan that will allow the Americans to bring Iran to its knees at minimal cost,” said the unnamed Russian intelligence official as reported by RIA Novosti a Russian based news agency.

The strike force is allegedly going to be composed of the “USS Nimitz and its support ships” which will join forces with the John C. Stennis strike group when it leaves the U.S. on April 2.

Although the Nimitz is scheduled to relieve the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, all three ships will remain in the Persian Gulf if the 15 British sailors and marines being detained by Iran are not released and will also remain if any armed conflict begins between the two nations.

The USS Bataan and USS Boxer will also be part of the strike force.

The Nimitz strike force will be “composed of the USS Princeton guided-missile cruiser, four guided missile destroyers – the USS Higgins, USS Chafee, USS John Paul Jones and the USS Pinckney. The strike force is armed with two helicopter squadrons and a special unit for dismantling sea mines and other explosive devices,” said Debka according to Russian intelligence officials.

Despite the claim, Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov says that the situation will be resolved “peacefully.”

“We are constantly working on how to resolve the situation around the Iranian nuclear program and other conflicts peacefully. This policy is unchanged and we will pursue it in the future,” said Lavrov.

Russian intelligence officials also say that the recent U.S. military exercise in the Gulf on March 27 was “practice” for the strike in April and that it will be up the U.S. “leadership” to give the go ahead as by April, the military is expected to be ready for the strike.

Different sources agree that the attack is allegedly only going to take place by air and will last 12 hours. No attack by land is expected. The attack is allegedly going to be called “Operation Bite.”

Russia’s Defense Ministry refuses to comment on the reports.

Stolen minibus recovered 35 years after theft

Friday, November 6, 2009

A 1965 Volkswagen minibus that was stolen in 1974 has been recovered by customs agents in Los Angeles. The vintage minibus was in pristine condition, valued at $25,000, and was found during a routine inspection of a shipping container scheduled for departure to The Netherlands. A routine computer database search on its vehicle identification number flagged it as having been stolen from a vehicle upholstery shop in Spokane, Washington on July 12, 1974. A custom restoration business in Arizona was attempting to deliver it to overseas clients last month when authorities intercepted the vehicle.

“Pretty amazing, isn’t it?”

The theft appeared on the National Insurance Crime Bureau database, which is used by border authorities and contains all stolen vehicle records. Most police databases remove unsolved vehicle thefts after five years.

The California Highway Patrol does not suspect the restorer of wrongdoing, according to investigating officer Mike Maleta. Possession of the vehicle apparently changed several times. Police in Spokane have not yet located the rightful owner, whose identity has not been released to the press. Maleta hopes that a trail of registration documents and interviews will uncover the thief.

“[The restoration firm owner is] a victim himself. He was an innocent purchaser…”

The Allstate insurance company paid $2500 shortly after the theft occurred and wants to take possession of the vintage minibus. Allstate spokeswoman Megan Brunet expects that after the necessary paperwork is processed the firm will sell it at auction.

Surgeons reattach boy’s three severed limbs

Tuesday, March 29, 2005A team of Australian surgeons yesterday reattached both hands and one foot to 10-year-old Perth boy, Terry Vo, after a brick wall which collapsed during a game of basketball fell on him, severing the limbs. The wall gave way while Terry performed a slam-dunk, during a game at a friend’s birthday party.

The boy was today awake and smiling, still in some pain but in good spirits and expected to make a full recovery, according to plastic surgeon, Mr Robert Love.

“What we have is parts that are very much alive so the reattached limbs are certainly pink, well perfused and are indeed moving,” Mr Love told reporters today.

“The fact that he is moving his fingers, and of course when he wakes up he will move both fingers and toes, is not a surprise,” Mr Love had said yesterday.

“The question is more the sensory return that he will get in the hand itself and the fine movements he will have in the fingers and the toes, and that will come with time, hopefully. We will assess that over the next 18 months to two years.

“I’m sure that he’ll enjoy a game of basketball in the future.”

The weight and force of the collapse, and the sharp brick edges, resulted in the three limbs being cut through about 7cm above the wrists and ankle.

Terry’s father Tan said of his only child, the injuries were terrible, “I was scared to look at him, a horrible thing.”

The hands and foot were placed in an ice-filled Esky and rushed to hospital with the boy, where three teams of medical experts were assembled, and he was given a blood transfusion after experiencing massive blood loss. Eight hours of complex micro-surgery on Saturday night were followed by a further two hours of skin grafts yesterday.

“What he will lose because it was such a large zone of traumatised skin and muscle and so on, he will lose some of the skin so he’ll certainly require lots of further surgery regardless of whether the skin survives,” said Mr Love said today.

The boy was kept unconscious under anaesthetic between the two procedures. In an interview yesterday, Mr Love explained why:

“He could have actually been woken up the next day. Because we were intending to take him back to theatre for a second look, to look at the traumatised skin flaps, to close more of his wounds and to do split skin grafting, it was felt the best thing to do would be to keep him stable and to keep him anaesthetised.”

Professor Wayne Morrison, director of the respected Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery and head of plastic and hand surgery at Melbourne’s St Vincent’s Hospital, said he believed the operation to be a world first.

Portable Heaters Options To Keep You Out Of The Cold

By Brian Jenkins

A good portable heater is the perfect way of providing some extra heating power that you can produce when and where you need it. Even if your home has central heating, it’s probably that you have a draughty hallway or a little-used room that doesn’t get enough heat in the winter time. Portable heaters provide you with instant heat whenever and wherever you need it, making them the ideal solution for those cold spots that

Fan and Convection Heaters

Fan heaters work by first drawing in cold air from the surroundings, then passing that air over a heated element within the heater unit. The heated air that is produced is then passed out of the heater into the room.

These are inexpensive to buy, but are definitely not inexpensive to run: fan heaters are notoriously inefficient. While they can provide fast heat, they are also noisy and aren’t considered as environmentally friendly as other heaters due to their inefficiency.

Convection heaters are similar in the way they heat air, but are somewhat more efficient and less noisy, because they don’t use a fan to distribute air, instead operating on the principle that warm air rises. These heaters take advantage of the natural air currents produced by warm air to distribute heated air throughout a room.

Oil Heaters

Oil heaters (also known as column heaters) are generally regarded as the most efficient and cost-effective electricity-using portable heaters around (however, they are not as efficient and inexpensive to run as most gas heaters). These work by using electricity to heat oil contained within the heater. The heated oil gives off heat into the air surrounding the heater, and natural currents move the heat around the room.

The beauty of these is that they take advantage of the fact that warm air rises and produces natural air currents, even within a room where the air is reasonably undisturbed. That makes them much more efficient in terms of heating power, and cheaper in terms of electricity used, than your average fan heater.

Radiant Gas Heaters

Radiant heaters are usually powered by gas. They are highly cost-efficient, attractive, and unobtrusive. Better yet, they can provide instant close-distance heat, and can also quickly heat an entire room.

Radiant portable heaters work by dispersing heated infrared rays. The heated rays radiate from the central heater point, where they can be absorbed by any surrounding objects, including furniture, floors, and people. As these objects heat up, they release heat into the air around them, thus heating the entire room.

These heaters are particularly efficient because, like many modern heaters, they do not use fans or blowers to move air around or distribute heat. They’re quiet, too, so they can be used in a child’s bedroom or other quiet space without causing any noisy disturbances. Another advantage of radiant heaters is that they do a great job of warming temperatures at floor level: if you like having toasty warm toes, this is the heater for you.

Catalytic Gas Heaters

These are smaller in size than most other gas heaters, but still capable of producing a good amount of heat. Their small size makes them convenient to move around, and the environment benefits, too-these have a significantly reduced carbon monoxide emission due to their smaller size.

One particular advantage of catalytic heaters is that once they have been lit using the heater’s pilot light, they are entirely flame-free. This makes them perfect for use in a garage or workshop, as the lack of flame makes them a very safe option in a potentially hazardous area.

Gas or Electricity: which should you choose?

Probably the most important decision you’ll make when buying a portable heater is that of gas versus electricity. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but each tends to be more suitable for particular locations.

Electrical heaters are usually good for smaller rooms where they can be stored unobtrusively until needed, and where they have easy access to an outlet. Their lower inefficiency makes them unsuitable for large rooms, however. The main problem with heaters that rely on electricity is that you can’t operate one without access to an outlet.

The beauty of gas heaters is that since they dispense with the need for an electrical outlet, you can take them almost anywhere in your home. They tend to be more easily portable, since there’s no need to worry about bundling up power cords and locating the best-situated outlet in a room. With gas heaters, as long as you have gas in the tank, you’ve got instant, portable heat anywhere you need it. However, due to the emissions gas heaters produce, they’re not suitable for small rooms.

Sample from Turkish patient shows mutated Bird Flu virus

Monday, January 23, 2006

A mutated form of the Avian (Bird Flu) virus has been found in a sample taken from a Turkish patient.

The mutated form is said to make the virus easier to attach itself to humans rather than animals says a report in the Nature journal.

The situation is being monitored by the World Health Organization but says “it is too early to know whether the virus is changing in ways that would signal the start of a human flu pandemic,” says Maria Cheng a spokeswoman for the WHO. “It’s one isolate from a single virus from Turkey. The sample suggests the virus might be more inclined to bind to human cells rather than animal cells, but there’s no evidence that it’s becoming more infectious. If we started to see a lot more samples from Turkey with this mutation and saw the virus changing, we’d be more concerned.”

However, the Nature report says there is a second mutation that also “signals adaptation to humans.”

Cheng also said that “flu viruses mutate all the time. For us to assign public health significance to a genetic change we need to match it to what is happening epidemiologically — how the virus is behaving — and clinically — if it’s more or less virulent.”

In Turkey the fatality rate from the Bird Flu is 50% where elsewhere in the world reports of infection were only scattered. Entire families have been affected in Turkey and more reports come out almost every day of mild symptoms.

So far, Turkey has suffered four deaths and 21 infections. In addition to those cases the WHO reports 145 cases and 80 deaths in Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

“When this outbreak (in Turkey) was first reported, there was a lot of concern it was behaving differently,” said Cheng. Subsequent investigation, however, has indicated no major behavioral change.

“The team there told us that after two weeks of investigating, they haven’t found substantial differences in the pattern we’ve seen in Southeast Asia,” said Cheng.

The mutations were discovered by scientists in London, England in a lab.

Cheng said this may “signify the virus is trying different things to see if it can more easily infect humans. So far, we haven’t seen that the virus has the ability to do this. But it’s important that we continue monitoring. We would be concerned if we were seeing successive generations of spread of the virus. We haven’t so far. All these people had a very clear history of contact with diseased birds.”

Health officials say that so far they do not see any evidence yet that the virus can spread easily in humans.

The Bird Flu virus, strain H5N1, first started to infect humans in 1997 in Hong Kong. In 2003 it re-emerged and it has so far been difficult to control.

Merits Of Viral Restaurant Marketing}

Submitted by: Jon Orana

Everyone knows what viral marketing is. Everyone uses it at some point and, even if businesses dont specifically go into a viral marketing campaign, the customers themselves facilitate viral marketing in behalf of the restaurant.

Viral marketing is very important to a business, especially restaurants. This is because viral marketing involves word-of-mouth, and restaurants are one of those few businesses that are dependent on customers opinions in order to bring themselves forward.

What are the advantages of viral marketing over other marketing techniques?

It Is Inexpensive

Viral marketing does not require any expense of some sort. You dont have spend too much on it. For example, if youre taking advantage of the Internet to conduct a viral marketing campaign, the only expense youd be recording is your Internet access as well as paying the person whos doing the campaign for you.

It Is Very Effective

People rely on testimonials greatly in order to shape their own decisions whether or not to experience the offerings of your restaurant. Viral marketing takes advantage of that by spreading the word about your restaurant. You can accomplish that by giving quality service to your customers, who in turn will tell their friends, family and contacts about your restaurant.

It Is Fairly Simple and Easy to Do

There are no complicated strategies that come with viral marketing. All you need to do is provide the proper jump-start and the chain reaction will start from there. Viral marketing can also be facilitated both offline and online.

With those points represented, certainly by now you would have grasped the importance and effectiveness of viral marketing in your advertising campaign for your restaurant. The next thing youd want to know is, how do you start a viral marketing campaign for your restaurant?

Here are some ways that you could start a viral marketing campaign.Online

The social networking capability of the World Wide Web is remarkable, and very ideal for viral marketing. You can easily conduct a viral marketing campaign in the World Wide Web by just having a username to any of the restaurant-related forums and by maintaining blogs with content related to your restaurant business.

One advantage of online viral marketing compared to offline methods is the wide range of audiences that it can reach. Youd never know where your marketing campaigns lead to as people of all nationalities browse the Internet everyday. You might find a foreigner being aware of your restaurant visiting it on his trip to your area.

Offline

Offline viral marketing is a bit more difficult to do. Unlike online viral marketing which is based on curiosity alone to attract new customers, offline viral marketing hinges on the actual performance of your restaurant. In order for your offline viral marketing campaign to be effective, you must do your utmost to satisfy your customers so that your campaign is going uphill, and not on a downslide.

You can also give out flyers and calling cards, and post ads in a newspaper to spread the word about your restaurant business.

Your Weight Loss Surgery Options

Your Weight Loss Surgery Options

by

Silas Grider

Are you looking to lose weight? If you are, you likely already know that you have a number of different options. For instance, you can go about losing weight naturally, with the use of exercise and healthy eating. You can also lose weight with the assistance of weight loss products, like diet pills. Another option that you have is weight loss surgery. Although all of the previous weight loss methods are popular, weight loss surgery is rapidly increasing in popularity.

If you are interested in undergoing weight loss surgery, you are not alone. As previously mentioned, weight loss surgery is increasing in popularity. If you have never considered weight loss surgery before, you may be wondering what all of your options are. While there are a number of different weight loss surgical procedures that you can undergo, you will find that there are two main procedures. These procedures, which include gastric bypass surgery and lap-band surgery, are outlined below.

Gastric bypass surgery is a weight loss surgery that involves the stapling of the stomach. That is why this procedure is also commonly referred to as stomach stapling. When undergoing gastric bypass surgery, your surgeon will portion off some of your stomach, making a smaller pouch. Your intestine will then be rerouted, making it so that your food consumption only impacts a portion of your stomach. This is what makes it possible for you lose weight with gastric bypass surgery.

Although gastric bypass surgery is a great weight loss surgery to undergo, it isn t right for everyone. Most physicians require their patients to be around eighty pounds or more overweight. In some rare instances, those who are less than eighty pounds overweight are able to undergo gastric bypass surgery if their health is at risk or if they have other medical problems, such as diabetes.

As previously stated, lap-band surgery is another weight loss surgery that is increasing in popularity. Lap-band surgery is similar to gastric bypass surgery. When undergoing lap-band surgery, your stomach pouch is made smaller. One of the few differences is that your stomach is not stapled, but an adjustable band is used. That is one of the reasons why lap-band surgery is so popular, as the band used can be completely removed or easily adjusted.

Lap-band surgery and gastric bypass surgery are not the only weight loss surgeries available to you, but they are two of the most popular. Thousands of Americans have undergone these two weight loss surgeries. For many individuals, weight loss surgery is a last resort. Many who undergo weight loss surgery have not had success with losing weight any other way. If you are interested in undergoing a weight loss surgical procedure, you will want to speak with your physician.

at home weight loss exercises for men

One of the many reasons why it is important to speak with your doctor or another healthcare professional is because weight loss surgery isn\’t right for everyone. In addition to being at the right, weight, you also need to have the willpower to reduce your food consumption. If you eat too much food, namely too much food for your stomach to hold, you can not only harm your weight loss progress, but you can also put your health at risk. That is why your weight loss surgery decision is not one that you can make alone; it is one that must be made in conjunction with a healthcare professional.
